Overview
Garhwal, Uttarakhand | Group size- Max. 09
A mid-altitude mountain pass situated in Garwhal Himalayas which offers stunning views is Kuari Pass trek. The best time to do this trek is in winter, as your heart will melt once you see everything covered in snow. One of the greatest things discovered by Lord Curzon is the offbeat route to reach Kuari Pass.

The trek begins from Pipalkoti in the Chamoli district and passes through small and beautiful villages of the Himalayas. As we move forward, you will encounter a mesmerising view of yellow and orange trees along with a contrast of blue and brown snow-covered mountains. As the trail leads through the jungles of Oak and Deodar trees you can also experience some wildlife. Going through rich Himalayan meadows and a few more passes you will reach the highest pass and your destination, Kuari Pass. The highlight of the trek is the Nanda Devi Massif. The trek is not too harsh but with a few physical efforts, one can enjoy some views which are to die for!
Haridwar to joshimath
After meeting at Haridwar in the morning at the given time our journey will go via rishikesh and Devprayag which is a confluence of Ganges and Alaknanda river, the whole road is in good condition and initially goes along the scenic Ganges river rushing down the mountain. Stay at a guest house/Hotel at Joshimath. Joshimath is a small town which receives a lot of tourists for being very close to the Hindu pilgrimage of Badrinath.
