Overview
Garhwal, Uttarakhand | Group size- Max. 15
One of the most popular treks in the Himalayas is Brahmatal Trek. It is situated in Chamoli District in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas at an altitude of 3830 m above sea level. Straight out of one’s imagination, the scenic beauty of this place goes through some wonderful landscapes and snowy meadows. Covered in snow before peak summer, this gem offers visitors a stunning view of the Garhwal Himalayas. Brahmatal Trek is the perfect way to get closer to nature and experience the thrill of life. The best part is that the trail is open in winter as the access is easier than any other trek. The high mountain peaks like Nanda Ghunti (6309 m), Mt. Trisul (7120 m), and Mt. Bethartoli Himal (6352 m) offer an astonishing view of the frozen lake in winter. The trek starts at Lohajung and moves over to a dense forest and then to the first glacial lake of the trek, Bekaltal lake which leads us to the destination of the trek Brahmatal. Gushing streams, dense flora, and blankets of snow make the sight of the lake truly breathtaking. An adventure seeker cannot go wrong by choosing the Brahmtal Trek any day. It is easier than other treks and provides you with pleasant views and exciting experiences.
