Standing at an elevation of 5287m, Friendship peak is an astonishing peak in the Pir Panjal Range that runs from Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh to the northwest of Kashmir. Friendship peak’s closest neighbour is Mt. Hanuman Tibba at an elevation of 5860m which offers an amazing view throughout the climb. Friendship peak’s climb in general is an easy climb compared to its neighbouring ranges however, it's not a short challenge. The “easy” part of the trek is during the initial phase up till the base camp, gradually the terrain requires climbing on snow ridges & steep snow sections of over 70 degrees inclination angle, there is a crevasse field just below the summit which requires safety and navigation skills. 

Once you reach the summit you will be overwhelmed by the panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges of Kullu, Lahaul, & Spiti regions with most significantly Mt. Deo Tibba & Mt. Indrasan. If you are able to perfect the time of the climb you will be in awe at the glorious sight of the sunrise from the top of the mountain.
