Overview
Kullu, Himachal Pradesh | Group size- Max. 09
Mt. Consolation rises to 5050m next to Duhangan Glacier in the Kullu region of Himachal Pradesh. The mountain is also known as Jagatsukh peak and it is a very small pyramid-shaped summit resting on top of a huge ridge that connects to Mt. Norbu and Mt. Deo Tibba as well. The mountain is situated in Pir Panjal Range and it is only accessible in the pre-monsoon and early post-monsoon season, due to its terrain the mountain becomes very difficult to access in the late post-monsoon season as the snow starts to melt exposing the crevasses!
The climb is not very technical and it allows a great 5000er experience for those who are gearing up for high-altitude climbing.
